GEMS Al Barsha National School

At the GEMS Al Barsha National School Dubai, admission request of all the students are accepted irrespective of their caste, race and religion. The seats are limited and therefore for all those students seeking admission, for them the school conducts an assessment based on the entrance test and interview to offer a place.
The admission process is online and to apply, first fill in the online application form available on the website with all the correct information and then submit. Once submitted, check the email address that was mentioned while filling the application form for the confirmation email, where the confirmation email has a reference number crucial for the rest of the stages and the parents are advised to save the number somewhere for the future references.
The parents are required to pay the registration fee of 525 AED (inclusive of tax) and to submit the following important documents as mentioned below to proceed with the application of admission.
1. Copies of parents’ and candidate’s passport with valid UAE residence visa.
2. Two recent passport size photographs (on photographic paper are accepted).
3. Copies of previous academic record (if seeking admission in Year 1 or above).
4. A document stating the special educational needs required to students.
5. Transfer certificate (original).
6. A copy of the birth certificate of the candidate.
7. Vaccination record.
8. Copies of Emirates ID of parents and candidate.

Every student in the UAE requires a transfer certificate to get admission as mandated by the KHDA. The following information must be there in the transfer certificate: Full name of the student, Date of entering and leaving the school, Date of birth of the candidate, The last grade studied in the school, Curriculum, Official school stamp and principal’s signature.

Those coming from countries except Australia, Canada, the US, New Zealand and Europe must get their certificate attested by the: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Country of the last school), Ministry of Education (Country of the last school) and the UAE Embassy (Country of the last school).

Once submitted, the parents are contacted by the school to bring their child for an assessment and the parents of the successful students will be informed, where they need to pay a required deposit to secure a seat for their child.
