The GEMS New Millennium School, Al Khail, was established in 2013 and is one of the three GEMS schools located off the Al Khail Road at the Dubai Hills Estate. The school follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum and provides education from Pre-kindergarten to Grade 12 it is the only school in the region recognized for its international perspective as claimed by the school's website.
With the modern-day values and learning technologies the curriculum is enriched, to equip students with the skills to excel in the 21st century. Since September 2020, for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum from Grade 9 onwards, the school has offered a parallel program.
The GEMS New Millennium School, Al Khail, is one of the diverse Indian schools in Dubai.

In 2020, the students from Grade 10 and Grade 12 achieved excellent results and made the school proud to announce their exceptional results for Grade 10, CBSE AISSE - 2020 as mentioned below:- a. Batch Average: 83%. b. 14 students scored 90% and above. c. 100% of students have scored First Division in five subjects aggregate in CBSE AISSE (2019-2020). d. 94% of students have scored 71% and above. Grade 12, CBSE Results 2020 - At the success story of the Flagship batch of Grade 12, let's take a look and their AISSCE results as mentioned below: a. Batch Average: 77%. b. Science Stream batch average: 78%. c. Commerce Stream batch average: 76%. d. 11 students scored 90% and above. e. 78% of students scored 70% and above. f. 99% of students scored 60% and above etc.

The students of the school have participated in many competitions and have won those competitions and have also been awarded making the school proud. Throughout the year, the children are rewarded in several different ways. In several different areas of school life that celebrate the students' successes, there is an Annual GNMS Prize Night. The competitions won and the awards received by the students are The K.S.Varkey Elocution Competition,  Interschool Business Simulation Competition, Terra-Vista Competition, and Sheikha Fatima Awards.
