GEMS New Millennium, Al Khail

Treating each application with fairness and equality, the GEMS New Millennium School, Al Khail, Dubai is a highly inclusive school. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the GEMS NMS, Al Khail, including all the GEMS Schools, to assist the parents started a virtual admission center. However, for the academic year 2021-2022, the changes in the COVID-19 protocols allows the schools to offer face-to-face school tours. The parents must book a tour first to ensure all the health and safety protocols can be followed during a school tour, are what the protocols mandated. The tour can be booked by filling out the form available on the school website. The virtual school tour available on the official website can also be opted for. The admission process of the school involves the following four steps as mentioned below:-

• Step 1: Submitting an online enquiry - With submitting an online enquiry form, the admission process at the school starts. This step is mandatory and to fill in the information such as the contact information (number and email), date of birth, religion and declaration are required by the parents. A school representative will contact the parents on the provided contact information, once submitted.
• Step 2: Acknowledgement email and enquiry number - Along with the receipt containing an enquiry number, the parents will receive an acknowledgement email and the further processes, they are advised to print the receipt and if not, then the parents can also note the enquiry number as it is crucial for enquiries and future correspondence.
• Step 3: Submitting documents to registrar - The parents need to submit a list of documents to the school's registrar i.e. after receiving the acknowledgement email and enquiry number and those documents are as mentioned below:
• PS: a. A copy of enquiry acknowledgement (received after completion of step 1).
• b. A copy of the applicant’s Emirates ID card.
• c. Three copies of the applicant’s birth certificate.
• d. Five recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant (white background).
• e. Three copies of the applicant’s passport with residence visa.
• f. A copy of mother’s and father’s passport with residence visa.
• g. Copies of previous academic records and reports.
• i. Fitness Certificate (only for admissions in kindergarten).
• j. Original Transfer Certificate in English (if applicable).
• Step 4: Paying registration fee - After submitting the aforementioned documents, a registration fee of 525 AED and the tuition fee for the first month are requested to the parents to pay. The school will send the documents to the Ministry of Education for approval, once paid.

• Transfer Certificate - Please note that the transfer certificate requirements are different for the applications from different parts of the world and these transfer certificates must be attested by the following authorities:
• Students from Other emirates in UAE: Ministry of Education in that Emirate.
• Students from Oman: Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oman, Indian Embassy in Oman, UAE Embassy in Oman.
• Students from Gulf Countries other than UAE: Indian Embassy (country of origin), Ministry of Education (country of origin) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (country of origin).
• Students from India: Education officer of zone/district/area (India), Indian Consulate in Dubai (attesting the Education Officer seal and signature) and Ministry of Foreign affairs in Dubai (attesting the Education Officer seal and signature).
• Students from Australia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, UK and US: A letter is required by the principal from these countries applicants on the school’s official letterhead and have the school’s seal and in the letter, the following information is required as mentioned below:
• a. Name of the school.
• b. Name of the applicant.
• c. A statement declaring that the applicant passed the last grade/year.
• d. Academic years studies in the school.
• Students outside Australia, Canada, Europe, Gulf Countries, India, New Zealand, Oman, UAE, UK and US: District Education Officer/Ministry of Education (country of origin), UAE Embassy (country of origin) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (country of origin).
