The GEMS Our Own English High School (OOEHS) Al Ain was established in 1992 and is an institution owned and operated by the GEMS Education Group. The OOEHS Al Ain draws on the global educational experience curated by the GEMS Group since its inception in 1959.
In Grade 10 the students sit for the All India Secondary School Examination conducted by the CBSE, as well as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education conducted by the CIE in Grade 11. The students take either the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) or the General Certificate of Education Advanced Subsidiary/Advanced Level Examination at the end of Grade 12.
At the OOEHS Al Ain the primary medium of instruction exercised is English. The school offers a myriad of extracurricular activities that aims to enrich the students’ academic experience, in addition to the core curriculum. This school is considered to be one of the best schools in Al Ain.
To create a learning-oriented environment that promotes the all-round development of students is what the OOEHS Al Ain aims. The all-inclusive nature of this school prepares each and every child attending the school for life beyond academia etc.

In CBSE-2021 and CAIE exams the students of the school have achieved excellence and have made the school proud. For CBSE-2021, the name of some of the students are Ganesh Murugappan (95.8%), Cerin Saji (95.8%), Sophy Thomas (95.8%), SREESHA RAM (95.4%), BEVERLY SABU (95%), NAMITHA THOMAS (94%), JERLIN ABEY (92.2%) and MOHAMMED SERAJ (92%), While for the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), MOHAMAD ALHAKIM (5A*), RAGAD MOHAMED (8A*), JOODE MOUSA (3A), JOODI IDRIS (3A), MARYAM ABDULHALEEM (3 A), BASEL HAFIZ SHADDAD (3A), MOAZ SHAHID (3A) and SHEEHAN SHAMS (3A). In Grade 10 and Grade 12 results for the last three years i.e. from 2018 to 2021 the school have achieved a Pass Percentage of 100 etc.
