At GEMS United Indian School the parents those who want to enroll their child should complete the following admission process:

Step 1: Complete the online form to start the registration process. The school's enrolment team will reach out to relay the rest of the process specifications once the necessary information has been filled out.

Step 2: To complete the registration process bring the following documents to the school:

a. 1 copy of the child’s passport and Emirates ID card.

b. 1 copy of the parent’s passport and Emirates ID card.

c. 1 copy of the child’s birth certificate (in English/Arabic).

d. 2 recent passport size photographs of the child (with a white background).

e. Two years’ of school reports, including any learning support documents pertaining to your child’s educational needs. (nursery reports for Early Years registration, if available).

f. Copy of Health Form along with a copy of Vaccination Record for KG1 and above.

Step 3: To schedule an interview and an assessment/entrance examination the school will initiate contact.

Step 4: For the interview and assessment accompany child.

Step 5: The school will contact the parent if the child has secured a place upon successful completion of the interview and assessment.

For Grades 2 and up the students seeking admission must provide a Transfer Certificate (T.C). The following documentation must be provided if an applicant wants to transfer mid-academic year:

1. Transfers from within Abu Dhabi: Submit records of tests undertaken by the student in their current academic school (for the same academic year) as well as an eSIS transfer.

2. Transfers from other Emirates: Submit mark sheets of assessments from the current school (for the same academic year). The current school's name and the current grade the mark sheets must include and by the current school and the Ministry of Education of the Emirate must be attested in which the school is located.

3. Transfers from India/other Gulf Countries: Students must submit the following additional documents:

a. The mark list of assessments done so far at the student’s current school during the current academic year.

b. Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate attested by the Education Officer of the Zone/District/Area, from where the Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate has been obtained.

c. Attestation of the Transfer Certificate must also be carried out at the Embassy of UAE in India and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE.

d. The Transfer Certificate has to be duly attested and the original needs to be submitted for Grade 2 and above (only at the time of enrolment).

e. The seal and signature of the Education Officer have to be verified by the Indian Consulate in Abu Dhabi and the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

For new GEMS United Indian School admissions, upon acceptance of the offer letter a registration fee equivalent to 5% of the annual tuition fees is due. This fee will be adjusted against the first term tuition fees but is non-refundable/non-transferable.
