While being relatively young (having opened in September 2016), David Wade, the Principal of GEMS Winchester School Fujairah (WSF), was brought to the UAE by GEMS Education after holding successful leadership positions in the UK, Malaysia, and Singapore. Mr. Wade considers himself a "whole-school" educator and has 18 years of experience running schools with both Primary and Secondary sections.GEMS announced in the summer of 2022 that Mr. Wade will be taking over as head of one of its prestigious private schools, GEMS FirstPoint School in Dubai. It was announced in August 2022 that Mr. Emmanuel Keteku, the Vice Principal of GEMS Winchester Fujairah, will take over as Principal.
