The application requirements for GESS vary depending on the grade level and the curriculum that the student is applying for. However, the following are some of the general application requirements:
Personal statement. The personal statement is an opportunity for the student to tell their story and to explain why they are interested in attending GESS. The statement should be well-written and should demonstrate the student's academic ability, extracurricular interests, and personal qualities.
School reports. The school reports should provide an overview of the student's academic performance and their overall development. The reports should be written by the student's current teachers and should be sent directly from the school.
Letters of recommendation. The letters of recommendation should be written by people who know the student well and who can attest to their academic ability, their extracurricular interests, and their personal qualities. The letters should be sent directly from the recommenders.
Test scores. GESS requires students to take the International Baccalaureate (IB) entrance examinations. The IB entrance examinations are a set of standardized tests that assess the student's academic ability in a variety of subjects.
Interview. Students who are shortlisted for admission will be invited to an interview with a member of the GESS admissions team. The interview is an opportunity for the student to learn more about GESS and for the admissions team to learn more about the student.
