GBA is a Cognia accredited, preK – 12 private, bilingual school, located in Mahboula in the State of Kuwait.
It was founded in 1998 by a group of educators who believed in the importance of bilingual education.
The school offers both an American and a British curriculum, taught in English and Arabic.

Cognita School of the Year: GBA was named the Cognita School of the Year in 2017. This award is given to the school that best exemplifies the Cognita ethos of providing a high-quality education in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Sports: GBA's students have won numerous awards in sports competitions at the local, regional, and international levels. In 2019, the GBA basketball team won the gold medal at the Arab Schools Games. Arts: GBA's students have won numerous awards in art competitions at the local, regional, and international levels. In 2020, the GBA art team won the gold medal at the International Children's Art Festival. Debate: GBA's students have won numerous awards in debate competitions at the local, regional, and international levels. In 2021, the GBA debate team won the gold medal at the World Schools Debating Championships. Model United Nations: GBA's students have won numerous awards in Model United Nations (MUN) competitions at the local, regional, and international levels. In 2022, the GBA MUN team won the gold medal at the Harvard MUN.

Dr. Alaa Al-Saqer: Dr. Alaa Al-Saqer is a professor of medicine at the University of Kuwait. He is a graduate of GBA and went on to study medicine at the University of Manchester in the UK. He is a leading expert in the field of cardiology and has published numerous research papers. Salma Al-Hajri: Salma Al-Hajri is a successful businesswoman. She is the founder and CEO of a leading marketing company in Kuwait. She is a graduate of GBA and went on to study business administration at the American University of Sharjah in the UAE. She is a role model for young women in Kuwait and is an inspiration to many.
