Global Indian International School was established in 2002. It is a part of the Global School Foundation. The Global Indian International School has expanded its operations in seven countries with 22 campuses. In 2007, the school decided to do expansion to Asia and open a new campus in India and Thailand. The school has won several awards for academic excellence. In 2002, the school reached the milestone of winning 64 academic excellence awards and the GAIL sustainability innovator award for green practice. The school follows the national curriculum of CBSE and has classes from KG1 to Grade 12. Currently, Global Indian International school is one of the International Schools in Abu Dhabi offering an International curriculum for students of diverse backgrounds.
