School History & Details

Guildford Grammar School was founded in 1896 by Charles Harper, with the guidance of Frank Bennett as the first headmaster. The school, initially named The Church of England Grammar School, aimed to provide education to Harper's children and others in the area. Over the years, the school has evolved to become co-educational and includes boarders, with a strong focus on financial independence and educational development within the Western Australian system. Today, Guildford Grammar School accommodates over a thousand students, including boarding facilities for up to 148 students.
