Established in 1614, Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Boys is a grammar school founded under Games 1. In 1865, the school was rebuilt, increasing revenue and students' strength. In addition, the school also supports a new girls' school and an elementary school in the town. In 1940, the elementary school was transferred to the Country Council. The Monmouth Boys and Girls School acquired direct grant status in 1946 and in 1976 the schools became independent. After a year, Monmouth pre-prep and nursery schools also joined the family. Now it is one of the UK's top boys and boarding schools which offers quality education to students. The students grow into self-confident young men.
The families of the school are united and share certain beliefs and values.
