The cut-off date is a little flexible: Either 31 August or 31 December. This allows parents to defer a younger child, if desired. However, this flexibility does not generally extend to advancing a child up a grade level.

The first-round admission interviews for Early Years and Grade 1 will focus on readiness for school; toilet trained, unassisted walking, listening to and following directions, social interaction, fine and gross motor development, oral English fluency and numerical sense. Admission interviews for Grades 2 to 5 will include academic assessments of both literacy and numeracy.

The first-round admission interviews for Early Years and Grade 1 will usually take 45 minutes. Admission interviews for older grades will usually take 60-70 minutes.

The parents will be asked to complete a questionnaire during their child's admission interview. Individual parent interviews will be conducted for Early Years applicants and may be arranged for Primary applicants in some cases, depending on the result of the admission interview process.

The maximum number of students per class will be 24. In the Early Years, we will have one morning class and one afternoon class for each Grade level. In the Primary section we will have up to 4 classes at each grade level.
