During the early phase of its existence, it was defined as a Preparatory School for the Sons of Gentlemen, offering a meticulous and gradually advanced preparation for public schools and the Royal Navy, both in classical and modern aspects.

Over the past 15 years, Homefield Preparatory School has consistently achieved a 100% pass rate at Common Entrance to top senior schools. This year, they report another set of outstanding results. In English, Maths, and Science, 73% of students earned grades ranging from A* to A. 85% of the students secured grades within the range of A* to B in the same subjects. In the year 2023, 76% of the boys excelled by achieving an A* in Mathematics.
