The Hong Kong Academy (HKA) was established in 2000 and is a non-profit, international through-train school offering a joyful and rigorous education for children aged 3 to 18 years. Competencies, knowledge, and skills the HKA students hone that they need to be successful today and in the future.
HKA in Hong Kong is one of only eight fully-authorized three-program International Baccalaureate World Schools, and the only one offering the Global Citizen Diploma program. The IB Diploma world pass rates the HKA students consistently outperform and around the globe enter competitive universities and colleges.
The HKA teachers are experienced specialists and, around 50% of faculty hold a master's degree and/or other postgraduate diplomas, in addition to their teaching qualifications. The school’s award-winning campus boasts professional grade theatre and visual art studios, sports pitches and outdoor playscapes, and multiple science and design labs in which STEAM projects come to life.
