Huanui College

To enrol at Huanui College, the steps to be followed are as mentioned below:-

• Step 1a
• Complete Online Enrolment form
• Complete either Step 1a, or 1b.
• The Huanui College online application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete once as part of the online application process you have all the documents ready to upload. Via completing their forms below you can also apply.
• Before getting started, in low resolution formats you will need copies of the following documents ready to upload during the application process.
• a. Photocopy of most recent School Report.
• b. Photocopy of Passport or Birth Certificate.
• c. Photocopy of current immunization status.
• Please note:
• Applications cannot be saved and completed later. You will need to restart the process, if you close the application before you have completed it.
• Additional supporting documentation if you would like to submit, then please email these separately to Shelley, at "[email protected]".
• Step 1b
• Complete Printable Enrolment form
• Complete either Step 1a, or 1b.
• Complete and submit the printed application form. With the application, you will need to have a copy of your child’s passport or birth certificate, immunization certificate, latest school report and any relevant learning assessments.
• Post to the address "Enrolment Officer, Huanui College, 328 Ngunguru Road, Glenbervie".
• Step 2
• Initial Assessment
• To complete the initial assessments for English and Mathematics your child will be invited to come to school. Valuable diagnostic information these assessments give the school. To meet with the Curriculum Leaders of these subjects you may be invited to assist the planning of an academic pathway for your child at Huanui College. At Huanui College your child’s placement is not dependent on the result of the assessments.
• Step 3
• Attend Enrolment Interview
• For everyone including you this interview is important, your child and Huanui College. To meet our Senior Management in a relaxed setting it will provide you with the opportunity, discuss Huanui College’s culture and expectations and to ask any questions you may have.
• Step 4
• The School’s Consideration
• To support Huanui College’s shared vision and core values the students will need to demonstrate a willingness and ability and to academically to apply themselves and in school life participate fully. For enrolment when assessing applications, each prospective student’s educational needs are considered and further information may be requested, where necessary.
• Step 5
• Offer of Place
• Additional intake if the roll allows and your child’s application the Huanui College accepts, a letter you will receive reserving a place for your child. An Admissions Agreement will be included with this, please read carefully as at your meeting with the Principal you will need to sign this. To Huanui College’s Conditions of Entry your child's enrolment will be subject as set out the Admissions Agreement.
• Step 6
• Acceptance of Offer
• For your child to then secure a place, by the date specified you will need to pay the non-refundable Enrolment Fee. Once this is paid, please phone Debby, the Personal Assistant to the Principal for you and your child for an appointment, to meet the Principal who before signing will explain the Admissions Agreement.
