Ignite American school is located near Mirdif in AlWarqa’a 3 at the intersection of 414 and 6th street.

Ignite school opened in Dubai September 2018 and is an organic growth school. They are excited for their American High School to open in September 2022.

They are an American School in Dubai. Their program aligns with the New York State Common Core standards. Grades 1 – 12 align with the New York State K-12 Learning Standards that incorporates the New York State P-12 Common Core Learning Standards.

Their teachers are all well qualified and experienced for more than 2 years with American school curriculum. All of their American educators are native to America, educated and trained in America often with international teaching experience.

Their Kindergarten American curriculum program aligns with the New York State Common Core Learning Standards. Grades 1 to 12 subject areas include: English Language Arts, Spanish and French (World Language – Languages Other Than English), Arabic, Islamic, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Social Studies, STEM, The Arts, Career Development and Occupational Studies, Health and Physical Education.? Mathematics and English Language Arts meet the US?Common Core State Standards?(which are framed as the?New York State P-12 Common Core Learning Standards).

They introduce the Arabic curriculum for their Early Years and Primary school students. Their Arabic lessons begin in Kindergarten from KG1 for all of their students, this is above and beyond the KHDA standards required. They find this approach helps all of their students grasp both the English (for non-native English speakers) and the Arabic (for non-native Arabic speakers) languages easily and enables a smooth transition into Elementary Arabic classes.
