The foundation for the Indian School Ibri was laid much earlier, the school was officially founded in 1989. The establishment of a school for the Indian community in Ibri was decided upon in 1987 by a group of distinguished Indians at Ibri, including Dr. R.R. Nair, Mr. K.U. Majeed, Mr. K.V Menon, Mr. A.K. Ahmed, and Mr. Ramesh Bhat. The school opened its doors in 1989.
The goal of the school is for every student to develop an integrated personality. To do this, the school offers a comprehensive intellectual, moral, and physical education. The school wants every student to grow up to be a responsible, spiritually aware adult who is also devoted to their nation, engaged in society, and beneficial to society.
As a result, the school works to improve not just its academic offerings but also its ability to foster the moral and social virtues that serve as the cornerstones of being a gentleman and an upright citizen.
