Situated on Mt. Zugerberg, with a stunning view of Zug's lake, is Institut Montana Zugerberg, a Swiss international day and boarding school. Opening day was May 3, 1926. It is currently a coeducational school with about 380 pupils enrolled. On campus, more than 55 different countries are represented. All international students between the ages of 6 and 19 are welcome at IMZ. The school is split into four sections: an International School that adheres to the Cambridge Lower Secondary, the Cambridge IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme; a Swiss Senior High School offering the Swiss Matura; and a Swiss Bilingual Elementary and Secondary School both following the Lehrplan 21(de).
Students develop through our founding values: Internationalism, Individualism and Integration.
