On its 40th anniversary in 2022, the International Indian School, Riyadh (IISR), formerly known as the Embassy of India School, Riyadh, celebrated fulfilling the needs of its neighborhood. The school was established on October 9, 1982, and has since become increasingly successful. The Indian Embassy continues to support IISR with their assistance, with H.E. Dr. Ausaf Sayeed serving as both the school's patron and the Indian ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With distinct divisions for boys and girls, IISR is a school with an English medium of instruction.
