Established in 1998  International Islamic School Malaysia Is located in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur. Initially, there were 30 students and the enrollment was from 47 countries. In 2021 the number of students reached 2280. This indicates that the school's academic and non-academic teams have the strength to provide high-quality education.  The school aims to enhance the quality of Education to meet the National and international standards. The school strive hard to expand its operation shortly. It ensures that students are inspired to become thoughtful and independent as well as well-rounded individuals. The school emphasized providing Islamic values through its Islamic curriculum. There is a team of respectable educators who preserve the state of the art of Islamic teaching methods.

The school had a good academic achievement record over the past years. 44% of students are higher achievers securing 2As  above out of 3 A-level subjects.  There is a hundred percent passing rate for physics and chemistry. The students also have good IGCSE results.

In 2019, some students participated in the Asian Open School invitation swimming And diving championship. They won six gold medals and certificates. The school also conducts interschool competitions in which students perform well.
