School History & Details

Established in 1951 International School Bangkok (ISB) is the first International school to open in Thailand. In 1960, the school moved to a large campus on Sukhumvit Soi 15. When the enrolment of students increased by 3,500 students, the school opened its second campus in Bangsue.  It is a co-educational school that provides the best quality education to students from Nursery to Year 13. As an IB school, it prepares students to become leaders in meeting the ever-changing needs of the world. Gradually, the school expanded its operations and facilities to accommodate the academic and non-academic needs of the students.

The students of International School Bangkok (ISB) have good academic achievement. In 2022, the average Diploma score was 36. Around 44% of students were awarded a Bilingual Diploma.
