Iqraa American School

The school is located in "7W3J+VVV, Abdullah Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Kuwait".

The school timings are as follows: For Kindergarten it is from 7:10 AM to 1:00 PM, for Elementary (1 - 5) it is from 7:10 AM to 2:00 AM, for MHS (6 - 12) it is from 7:10 AM to 2:30 PM and on Thursdays for Kindergarten to Elementary it is from 7:10 AM to 1:00 PM and for MHS (6 - 12) it is from 7:10 AM to 1:30 PM.

The start and end of the school year is "August to June".

The school provide following services and those are Learning and Support, IT Support, Intervention Program, School Nurse Services, Library, E-Resources and Counseling.

For both students and teachers the school organizes Literacy week, International Days, National Days, Math week, Science week, pink awareness day, Fund raising activities, Graduations, and many such extracurricular activities. For interschool activities the students are taken out to give them rich exposure. To talk to students on various important topics the guest speakers are invited in school. Several agencies, like IDP, IELTS, AMIDEAST, INJAZ are invited to enrich students with the knowledge required for a good career choice. With Injaz the school has a tie up to train kids in entrepreneurship. Examples are sports matches, Quiz competitions, debate team presentations, field trips, and in-house opportunities for student life and activities. The students complete a survey of clubs and activities they want to be involved in, in the beginning of the school year. Then, for activities the teachers volunteer within their expertise and passions. Overall, among staff and administrators the collaborative effort to provide students with engaging and high-quality activities to participate in throughout the school year is such a strength for the school.
