The College of Islamic Knowledge and Guidance, or Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda, was founded in August 1997 for boys eleven years of age and older. Schools that offer both secular education in a safe Islamic atmosphere and a thorough, affirming, and inclusive understanding of Islam are essential to the Muslim community in the United Kingdom. Jamiah was founded in answer to this need by the acceptance and mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, as well as by the kind duaas and charity of Muslim brothers and sisters all around the nation. With more than 2000 kids enrolled since 1997, Jamiah currently has about 450 boys on its register. While many of their students are from around the nation, including Canada, Reunion, and New Zealand, the bulk of their students are local.
Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda tries to:
Instill in young Muslims a strong religious and social code based on Islamic teachings.
Instill in children a sense of civic duty and accountability, as well as to promote constructive social engagement in their community.
To advance the well-being of young Muslims and to impart to students a real knowledge of their social and religious obligations and rights in society.
