School History & Details

Juying Secondary School was established in December 1994, and its first principal was Mrs. Lee Yin Ling. On June 12, 1995, an initial Secondary One cohort moved into the current facilities, which had been partially converted and formerly home to Jurong Institute.

For the first few years, we placed a focus on creating functional processes that were understandable to the personnel and effective.   On July 18, 1997, Mr. Peter Chen, Senior Minister of State for Education and Member of Parliament for Hong Kah GRC, gave the school its official opening.
