The King Faisal School (KFS) was established in 1991 and was set up by the King Faisal Foundation (KFF), which is an international philanthropic organization established by the sons of King Faisal in 1976 with the mission of preserving and perpetuating the King Faisal’s legacy.
The KFS is a not-for-profit International Baccalaureate School curriculum school established in Riyadh. This school has gender separate sections, for students in KG1 to KG3 with a pre-School, Primary sections from Grades 1 to 5 (though from Grades 1 to 3 the boys are taught by the female teachers managed by the Girls’ school administration), and separate Girls (growing annually to Grade 12, from Grades 6 to 9) and Boys (from Grades 6 to 12) Senior sections.
Its own Principal, leadership team and character is what each section of the school has, but to ensure that each section is very much part of one school offering a seamless and creative journey from entrance to graduation is what the leadership aims. To be the children of the former students who have a life-long relationship and love of the school, many current students are said.
"In KSA to be the premier school providing an all-round education with academic rigour at its core to a diverse and inclusive community" is the Vision of the King Faisal School and "through a rigorous national and international program of study to develop young people" is the Mission. Faith, Knowledge, Work is the school motto etc.
Faith, Knowledge and Work.
