Charles Edward Baring Young, a Christian philanthropist, constructed Kingham Hill on purpose in 1886. By founding it as a place where boys with special needs could receive an education and prepare for adulthood, he put his faith into action. When the school accepted its first intake of girls in 1992, it transitioned to a co-educational setting. By offering a top-notch all-around education, along with a variety of extracurricular activities and experiences, Kingham Hill School carry on the Founder's vision by thoroughly preparing their students to graduate as contented, well-rounded, and resilient young adults prepared to thrive in their future endeavours.
