Transitioning from primary to secondary school is filled with anticipation and unease. The school's primary objective was to ensure students quickly settle and feel comfortable in their new academic environment. They understand that students have different academic backgrounds and that some might be encountering a subject for the first time. The supportive team works tirelessly to make sure no student feels overwhelmed and they all reach their full potential. the school was established in the year 2009.
They have thoughtfully constructed a curriculum aimed at fulfilling the student's spiritual, intellectual, and worldly needs. A great emphasis is placed on Arabic language study, given its obvious spiritual and worldly benefits. Just like Latin and Greek in traditional liberal education, Arabic helps in boosting intellectual capacity and connecting students with their Islamic roots. Therefore, students will be exposed to the Arabic language on a daily basis, instilling a love for this prestigious language by immersing students in it.
An integrated Islamic Studies curriculum has also been put in place, allowing students to engage in Islamic disciplines such as Seerah, ulum al Quran, hadith, and fiqh, among others. After five years of intense study, students graduate with an Islamic Studies Diploma.
LNS aspires to develop balanced, self-assured, and open-minded British-Muslim young women. Their objective is also to give them a solid understanding of Islam that equips them to excel in higher education and make meaningful contributions to society.
