School History & Details

The International Lomonosov School in Berlin-Tiergarten, which was recognized by the Berlin Senate and officially recognized by the government in 2011, began operations in August 2006. The school's creative teaching model complements the pedagogical environment in the German capital. Their teaching method is founded on extensive experience integrating multilingual children into the German school system, as well as sophisticated academic research in international education. Genthiner Str. 20, 10785 Berlin is a four-story structure with ample space for the school. It is home to students in grades one through ten. MITRA Lomonossow-Schulen gGmbH is a non-profit organization created in 2014 by the "MITRA Intercultural Pedagogic Association". The latter was founded in 1993 to provide educational support to migrant and expat families with children living in Berlin and contributing to their assimilation into German society. MITRA's aim also includes promoting the peaceful and tolerant coexistence of diverse cultures in Germany.
