Established in 1989, Loyang Secondary School is a place where every student develops into a wholesome individual. Initially, the school started its operation with fourteen teachers and 390 students. It was opened by the senior minister of state for education Tay Eng Soon. In 2004, the school underwent several changes through The program for rebuilding and improving existing schools. The school wants students to thrive in a complex and ambiguous feature and for that, the school provides quality education to students in a positive environment. the school philosophy includes respect, character development, and discipline. Teachers are professional and prepare well students to survive in this twenty-first century.
