LPW School is a compact, full-time alternative school located in Bristol's downtown that serves students between the ages of 14 and 16 and was established in the year 2011. They give young people who are not interested in traditional schooling a new beginning. The goal is to get kids back into the classroom and give them a small, supportive, yet demanding learning environment. They acknowledge that many of their students are not well-suited to the typical school curriculum and that this may have contributed to their struggles in earlier settings. The goal is to offer a diverse choice of courses and opportunities by partnering with providers throughout the city, combining academic accomplishment with worthwhile real-life experiences and vocational development.
LPW School aims to reintroduce education to young people in Bristol by providing a challenging, safe, and encouraging learning environment that promotes achievement and individual development. to cultivate a sense of community that values diversity, respect for oneself and others, and responsibility. The basic values of fairness, honesty, empathy, tolerance, and respect serve as the foundation for LPW School's vision. They think that it is via these common principles that their students can learn about and get an appreciation for the core British values of democracy, individual liberty, the rule of law, and tolerance and respect for one another.
