School History & Details

In 2001, the establishment of Macquarie Anglican Grammar School started with the idea to open an independent school in Dubbo. Since the Diocese of Bathurst first acquired and established the school's current physical location and facilities, we have changed and are now a part of the Anglican Schools Corporation.

    School Values

  • Christian faith
  • Macquarie Anglican Grammar School cherish their ties to the Central West and beyond, their inclusive and polite society, their common Christian religion, and their culture of lifelong study. Planning for the future, excellent instruction, extracurricular activities, pastoral support, and co-curricular programs will all help this vision come to life at the school and ensure that their children are well-prepared for the rapidly changing global landscape.
