Maharaja Harisingh Agricultural Collegiate School

The institution began as a trust established by its founder, the late Maharaja Hari Singh Ji. He intended to ensure that the children of the impoverished and needy in the Jammu region were educated and cared for. In 1967, the trustees handed over operation of the school to the century's premier educationists, the D.A.V. College Managing Committee in New Delhi. Nagbani is recognised for its natural beauty. Chenab's ice-cold water, clean fresh air, and lush foliage make studying a joyous experience in nature's lap at Nagbani. Maharaja Hari Singh Agricultural Collegiate School is conveniently placed near Nagbani, approximately 10 km from the temple city of Jammu. The school is the main focus of this community, hence it is often known as 'Nagbani' School.
