The Fryeburg Academy Admission Process is as mentioned below:-

• Local Day Students
• MSAD 72 Resident Enrollment Process
• Step 1: The MSAD 72 new student enrollment and residency requirements information, please review them.
• Step 2: From the district once confirmation of residency is obtained, to begin the enrollment process, please bring district documents to Amanda Fusco, for Academics and Student Records FA's Office Manager.
• Non-MSAD 72 Resident Enrollment Process
• Step 1: Fryeburg Academy the Albany, Maine residents who choose to attend, to begin the enrollment process, please contact Amanda Fusco, for Academics and Student Records FA's Office Manager.
• Step 2: Fryeburg Academy the Chatham, New Hampshire residents who choose to attend, from the Chatham town office please obtain a letter that confirms Chatham residency.
• Step 3: To begin the enrollment process, please bring the documentation to Amanda Fusco, for Academics and Student Records FA's Office Manager.
• Commuter Day Students
• Apply in 3 Easy Steps:
• Step 1: Either a downloadable application or an (SSAT) standard online application, please submit.
• Step 2: Three recommendations and all transcripts, please submit.
• a. For standardized testing results the school accepts the SSAT (preferred assessment), TOEFL, or SLEP. For admission standardized tests are not required but will be considered if submitted.
• b. 1st February is the priority application deadline. After the deadline applications submitted will be considered on a rolling admission basis.
• Step 3: Schedule an in-person or Skype Interview.
• a. For all applicants the school request on-campus or SKYPE interviews. To arrange for a SKYPE interview please email or call the school's Admission Team.
• b. Approximately 2 hours the interviews/campus tours take.
• c. Monday - Friday the interviews may be scheduled.
• Domestic Boarding Students

• 1. Grade 9: 65 or higher
• 2. Grade 10: 75 or higher
• 3. Grade 11: 80 or higher
• 4. Grade 12: 90 or higher
• d. To take the TOEFL exam (or equivalent) students who have not had an opportunity i.e. during the interview should discuss this with their Fryeburg Academy Admissions Counselor.
