Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition and Fees:

1. Tuition/Room/Board 2024-25

a. 7 Day Boarding - $55,000.

b. 5 Day Boarding - $40,000.

c. MWV Winter Term - $15,000 (requires participation on the MWV Ski Team).

d. Commuting Day - $19,900.

e. Semester - $27,500 (annual fees prorated).

2. Application Fee

a. $100.

b. To accompany the application this is a one-time, non-refundable charge.

3. Student Life Fees

a. USD $1,775.

b. Most afternoon and weekend recreational activities and related transport this fee covers. A refundable $500 room deposit the charge also includes.

4. International Student Fee

a. USD $3,500.

b. Of all international students this fee is required. For International Students provided by FA’s Center, it covers intensive and specialized support: college counseling, TOEFL preparation and testing, and college writing instruction. When applicable, It also covers ESOL study and for passports the additional administrative assistance required, I-20, and visa management.

5. Learning Support Program

a. USD $5,500.

b. To provide services to students with diverse needs, whether documented or not the Fryeburg Academy's Learning Support Program is designed. Study skills, reading instruction, writing assistance, content area support, and growth in self-advocacy skills are among the areas addressed. In the area of English two classes specifically designed with on reading and written language focus are offered when this instruction the individual requires. For individuals remediation and supportive services are provided who have a documented specific learning difference such as a learning disability, physical handicap, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or other health impairment.

6. Health and Accident Insurance

a. USD $2,495.

7. Tuition Refund Plan

For all boarding and commuting day students, the fee is a requirement. Approximately 3% of the student’s tuition fee is.

Financial Aid:

For all financial aid paperwork 1st February is the priority deadline. Some financial aid is still available.

1. At "sss.nais.org" access the PFS form online. Please note that in separate households if your parents live, both parents must complete forms.

Scholarship

The Fryeburg Academy in Fryeburg, Maine offers scholarships and financial aid incentives to eligible families. About 35% of boarding students receive assistance each year. The school also offers the Bion R. Cram Scholarship, which is for Maine and Northern New England residents.

The Fryeburg Academy also offers senior awards, including:-

1. Medical Staff at Memorial Hospital Scholarship: Kaelynn P. Daigle and Madison K. Griffin.

2. Jaden Dennery Armed Forces Award: Chandler Adams.

3. Fryeburg Academy Alumni Association Awards: Courtney Dutton, Morgan Fusco, Will Marshall, Blair Park, and others.

The Fryeburg Academy also offers a National Merit Scholarship, which is awarded to the highest-scoring entrants from each state in a nationwide pool of 16,000 semifinalists etc.
