The Manchester Islamic High School for Girls is a private Muslim day school, serving girls aged between 11 and 16. Established in 1992, it is located in the Chorlton region of Manchester. The school, operated by the Manchester Islamic Educational Trust Ltd, only accepts students with average or above average abilities and requires them to pass an entrance examination. There are also two other schools in the area managed by the same Trust. The school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and warm Islamic environment where students can realize their full potential. Currently, the school is attended by 225 British Muslim students from a range of cultural backgrounds, with the majority being of South Asian descent.
