Marianapolis Preparatory School, an independent, co-educational, Catholic boarding and day school in Thompson, CT, serves grades 9-12 and postgraduates. Marianapolis was renamed Marian Hills College after the Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception sponsored it. Marian Hills accepted the goal of preparing young men for leadership roles in society and the Catholic Church. The 1974 school year began with 108 students, eight of whom were female, making it a coeducational school.
