With 511 students enrolled, Milford School is a coeducational contributing elementary school serving grades 1-6. As a spillover from Takapuna School, it opened in 1926 and became autonomous in 1946. The dates of rollover are April 2023. Pupils at Milford School come from a variety of countries. A significant portion of our student body is composed of Europeans from New Zealand, with the remainder hailing from other countries such as Korea, China, Taiwan, Egypt, Iran, Malaysia, Brazil, Germany, Iraq, Serbia, Russia, Tonga, Fiji, India, and Maori from New Zealand.
We at Milford want our students to be the following: curious, informed, critical thinkers, communicators, moral, tolerant, risk-takers, balanced, and introspective. Our school's culture is built around these learner traits, which also give pupils lifelong learning skills.
