Started in 1995, Mirdif American School is an excellent and affordable English Medium Co-ed day school with classes from Pre-KG to Grade VIII. The school follows the American Common Core Curriculum based on the California Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. Currently, there are over 895 students, and the vast majority of them are local Emiratis although a total of 45 nationalities are represented in the school.
