Established in 1920, Modern School Is a visionary dream of Lala Ragubir Singh along with the motivation of its father. He was involved in the fruition of his dream. At that time his father's house was a hub for National leaders and they had an influence on Lala Ji who decided to start a school which is equipped with moral values and modern ideas.  It is a co-education public school that offers a CBSE curriculum. Since 2007, the school has been awarded the International School Award.

The school provides students and opportunities in various academic competitions apart from their regular examinations. In academics, one of the students secured All India rank 11 and within Delhi secured 4th position at Aarohan 2019-20, which is organized by BITS Pilani.
