The non-academic achievements of Mount St. Mary's College span many fields, particularly sports. Rugby is one of the sports that the college participates in, and some of its older students have joined the England Rugby teams in addition to those for Scotland, Ireland, Italy, and many other nations. Rugby accolades for the school include winning the NatWest Schools Cup in 1994 after finishing second in 1992. In 2022, the college won the U18 National School's Vase, repeating this honor. In addition, from 1988 to 1995, the college won the National Schools Sevens four times.
