Applying for Immediate Enrolment

Applying for 2024 Enrolment

For 2024 applications have now closed, but to enquire about a late enrolment you may contact us.

Applying for 2025 Enrolment

On 30th September 2024, the applications for 2025 will close. To request an Enrolment Pack please contact us that will be available from February 2024.

Once your application has received and reviewed an 'Indication of Enrolment' we may be able to give you within a short period with a formal 'Offer of Enrolment' made during October 2024. If for your child you are offered a place then within 14 days of receiving the offer we will ask you to confirm your acceptance or decline the place.

• Preference and Non Preference Policy

• Up to a maximum of 16 non-preference candidates (5% of our roll) our school can accept, if after all preference children are accepted the places are available. Currently there are no non-preference places available.
• Non-Preference Criteria:
• a. The applicants accept that a school of Catholic character they will be attending and that in the school their place is conditional on their participation in the program and ethos of the school.
• b. The applicants accept that to pay attendance dues as set by the Proprietor they will be required and these are not voluntary.

• School Contributions are made up of several elements:
• 1. Attendance Dues.
• 2. Special Character Contribution.
• 3. Other Contributions.
• Information for Parents of New Entrant Children
• Cohort Entry Policy and Start Dates
• A Cohort Entry Policy Mt Carmel is operating which at the start and the midway point of each term allows for one intake of New Entrant students. For 2024 our last intake will be on 14th October in 2024. After this date if your child's birthday falls then for the following year intake you should apply.
• For 2024 intake dates are:
• Term One - Thurs 1st Feb & Mon 11th March.
• Term Two - Mon 29th April & Tues 4th June.
• Term Three - Mon 22nd July & Mon 26th August.
• Term Four - Mon 14th October.
• Orientation Sessions
• To enroll at Mt Carmel School when your child has been accepted then to attend an Orientation Session you and your child will be invited just before they are due to start school - when the date of this session has been confirmed we will write to you. The session if you are unable to attend then to have a read through our Parent Information Book we recommend you to familiarize yourself with our routines and policies.
