The NIST International School was established in 1992 and follows the IB program and from primary through secondary levels offers education to students. The school offers the IB diploma course at the secondary level.

In 1992, this school was founded with a mission to inspire growth, enrich lives, and empower individual excellence. For students to flourish and positively impact others the school follows a vision to provide individualized and authentic learning pathways.

To provide purpose, structure, and inspiration to student's lives the school follows a value. Between the school team, students, and parents the school’s vision, mission, and values represent a collaborative effort.

To ensure the healthy development of students everyone works hard. To students’ learning and practice the school faculty and staff consider themselves to be central.
Indeed, in Thailand NIST is the first full International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, and as such the program is a frequent early adopter of new improvements.
As the base of the school's curriculum, NIST continues to offer the Primary Years Program (PYP), the Middle Years Program (MYP), and the IB Diploma Program (DP).

Achievements

The NIST International School is recognized as one of the top non-selective IB schools in the world. The school's academic achievements include:-  1. The Class of 2021 set a school record with an average IB DP exam score of 37.8. 2. 42.4% of the Class of 2021 earned 40 or more points, and 69.7% earned 35 or more points. 3. The top score was 45, awarded to eight students. 4. 58% of students earned a bilingual diploma. 5. 99% pass rate. 6. The previous five graduation cohorts from 2016-2020 earned an average of 35.4 on the IB diploma examinations etc & if any.

The NIST International School has several non-academic achievements, including:- 1. Extracurricular activities: NIST offers over 300 activities in academics, arts, sports, and service. Students travel to competitions locally and globally. 2. Athletics: NIST has varsity teams for tennis, badminton, swimming, softball, and rugby. They compete in the Bangkok International Schools Athletic Conference (BISAC) and the Southeast Asia Student Activity Conference (SEASAC). 3. Partnerships: NIST has partnerships with globally recognized talent, including Chelsea FC. 4. Learning principles: NIST provides a safe, secure, and supported learning environment that fosters well-being. They also provide opportunities to construct new knowledge that is built on prior knowledge and experience etc.
