NPS International School was established in 1959 as a small school with just 19 students. The school was formed to meet the demand for the best quality education in keeping with the new educational paradigm. The school offers an enriching environment where they feel like a part of the school. The IB Diploma Programme of the school is among the variety of subject choices in Singapore. Over the past eight years, students have gone to top universities for higher studies. The school offers students IGCSE examinations for Grades 9 to 10, an IB diploma program for 11 to 12, and CBSE for Grades 9 to 12. Currently, around 1,500 students are studying at the school who come from different nationalities. Apart from academics, the school has a comprehensive extra-curricular program in which the school offers a variety of activities to develop and discover the student's capabilities. Teachers are knowledgeable and experienced.

Achievements

The students of NPS International School are good in academics and secure high percentages in various examinations. In 2019, students performed highly competitively in the Singapore Mathematics Olympiads. Students also win the International Maths Olympiads challenge, Science Olympiad foundation exam, and poetry recitation and storytelling competition.

The school arranges a variety of extra-curricular activities for students all over the year. The school congratulates students for winning basketball, badminton, and tennis tournaments. Students win gold medals in the Papago Badminton Tournament, bronze medals in the national track and field championship, and silver medals in the ActiveSG Tournament.
