Fee Structure

Important Information

At Obersee Bilingual School AG (hereafter OBS) the school fee regulations are an integral part of the registration.

1. Application fee

For every child, the one-off registration fee is compulsory and is non-refundable. The registration fee will not be charged again if the child re-enters the school.

Baby Care / Pre-Kindergarten: CHF 300.

Kindergarten / Primary School / Middle School / Upper School: CHF 500.

2. Placement test

To gain entry into the OBS Middle and Upper School (only for new students from grade 5), CHF 950 will be charged for the placement test.

3. Deposit

For every child the deposit is compulsory. After signing the contract the deposit is due. When a child leaves OBS the deposit is refunded and for at least one school year has attended the school. This period if not reached, or despite having a reserved place if a child does not enter OBS, the entitlement to a refund of the deposit expires. From the school fees, the deposit is to be considered separately.

Baby Care / Pre-Kindergarten: CHF 1'500.

Kindergarten: CHF 2'500.

Primary School / Middle School: CHF 3'000.

Upper School: CHF 5'000.

4. Registration fees (from Kindergarten onwards for new enrolments)

Upon signing the contract the payment of a one-off registration fee of CHF 2'500 is due.

Sibling Discount

For the second child, OBS grants a 10% discount on the school fees. From three registered children onwards, for each child (including the first child) a discount of 10% on the respective school fees is granted.
