The Octavia House School celebrated its tenth year as an "outstanding" provider of education and therapy for children who have had traumatic experiences as children in 2022. Trauma and toxic stress are examples of what are referred to as ACEs. With students ages 5 to 16, it has an all-qualified team of teachers and therapists who "work as one" to satisfy the requirements of their students' social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH). 'Always positive' and structured but flexible' teaching strategies help students' attitudes and behavior over time.
