Ten pupils walked into what was meant to be their school in 1989; this was the beginning of a grand dream for visionary educator Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan, who is the founder and chairman of the ODM educational group. Despite having multiple degrees under his belt and a plethora of professional possibilities at his disposal, this man took the risky and difficult decision to found a school that would be unique and provide actual information to benefit humanity. What is now known as ODM Public School started off as a small room with ten pupils. Year after year, the school reached new heights and accomplished various milestones without the help of a godfather or outside assistance. For children who were socioeconomically disadvantaged, a secondary school was established in 1992, and a secondary branch was added in 1996.
Only if a student's value system is maintained can they succeed in the future. ODM solely concentrates on discipline and value-based learning to address that. Value Education is included in the curriculum, and we also offer ongoing development sessions and counseling.
