The Orewa College was established in 1956 and is a state coeducational combined intermediate and secondary school located in Orewa, north of Auckland, New Zealand on the Hibiscus Coast. As of April 2023, a total of 2014 students from Years 7 to 13 (ages 10 to 18) attend the school.
As a District High School with 101 students, Orewa College was founded in 1956. It became a college with about 370 students in 1974. It became a Year 7 to 13 school in 2005. The school's motto is "Towards enriched responsible citizenship".
The school is committed to providing a supportive and challenging learning environment that promotes high levels of academic and co-curricular achievement. The school has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking lot.
The Orewa College is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, and is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
