International Education Fees - 2024 & 2025
The following outlines the fees for international students attending school in 2024 and 2025, with costs varying based on the length of their enrollment:
School Tuition: Tuition costs are $17,000 for four terms, $12,750 for three terms, $8,500 for two terms, and $4,250 for one term. This fee covers tuition, including English Language instruction, but excludes optional activities like outdoor education, visual arts, camping, and ski trips.
Homestay Fees: The cost of homestay accommodation is $350 per week. For 46 weeks (equivalent to four terms), the fee totals $16,100; for three terms, it is $12,075; for two terms, $8,050; and one term, $4,025. These fees also cover term holiday periods.
Homestay Placement Fee: There is a one-time fee of $350 for arranging homestay accommodation.
Disbursement/Examination Fee Deposit: A $1,400 deposit is required to cover potential expenses, such as examination fees, visa processing, and emergencies. Any remaining funds will be refunded upon completion of the student’s education.
Insurance: The approximate cost of insurance is $646 for four terms, $501 for three terms, $373 for two terms, and $268 for one term.
Uniform: The cost of the school uniform, which includes both summer and winter attire, is $900, or $450 for one term. Assistance in purchasing new or second-hand uniforms will be provided by the Director of International Students upon the student’s arrival.
Administration Fee: A one-time administration fee of $300 is charged.
Stationery: Students must provide their stationery, which can be purchased locally after subject selection.
Examination Fees: Students taking the NCEA (National Certificate of Educational Achievement) exams must pay the examination fee set by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, which will be deducted from their disbursement deposit.
