Peicai Secondary School, which took over the former Hwi Yoh Secondary School's premises, was founded in 1984 as a consequence of the merger of Parry Secondary School and Hwi Yoh Secondary School. The name of the school is derived from the Chinese names of its two "mother" schools. "Peicai" is a Hanyu Pinyin word that means "Talent Nurture." Peicai Secondary School (PCSS) continues to prioritize its students' overall development, with academic success and character development serving as foundations of holistic education. Students who are interested in and appreciate what they do will excel and be driven to pursue their interests outside of school.
