Prior to its forced move from a villa, Philippine Emirates Private School (PEPS) was founded in April 1995 as PISCO on Abu Dhabi Island. Initially, PEPS arranged for its high school students to be housed in temporary housing in Mohammed bin Zayed City for two years. Before the 2013–14 academic year began, the entire school was transferred to a brand-new, specially constructed structure in Baniyas East.
